G5 5 quad versus dual quad
how much better?
Anybody have actual real world experience with similar experiences to comment (beyond justifying why you bought what?) I'm starting to plan for the upgrade from my PPC... but is the additional cost for a dual quad REALLY worth it? I want the G5 because of the additional HD bay and ports so MiniMac , I-Macs, etc., are already on the curb

There's definitely some advanced Mac users that have used both who can quickly answer this for you in the Mac forums. The Mac HD forum has some pretty knowledgeable Mac users who definitely know their stuff in this department. Maybe a mod can move this or just repost. You'll have the answer you need on this subject in no time from our Mac brethren.
