Default Cymbals sound weak

I am currently using PT MP Essentials 8.
For midi controllers, I have the KeyStudio Keyboard and a yamaha dd65 electronic drum set.
For the drum track, I use Structure Essentials.

When I wanted to make a drum track, I noticed that my when I strike the cymbal pad, it sounds really weak. Not weak as in you can barely hear it, but as if I am afraid to hit the thing.
So I tried using my Keyboard instead of my dd65, but no difference.

Does anybody know what I can do to improve the sound?

Thanks.
