Did you update both, the Econ Workstation and the app on the tablet?

doing it now thx but the update is only available for ipad which i use for the dock. for amazon fire hd 10 its not available yet.

Update the Tablet software and the version mismatch should disappear. Mine did.

glad you are happy :) i know there are many happy users out there but i know also bunch who are not...

and update is only available for ipad...amazon store says no updates available

Right-clicking on the link in Avid Account fixed it for me. Nice update!

I'm sorry but this is not an Avid issue. We have no control when the 3 different App Stores push the App out. I actually released the Fire App first.

appretiate your response and help which you did bunch of times...but come on man, eveything related to eucon is you guy's responsibility....if the tablet's software are not available than this means the product is not ready. either you should warn the user's about it, or better not let anyone update accidentally...not release it.

So you want me to wait until the tablet is updated (hosing everyone who has auto update on) then release EuControl? A software release involves about 20 people, 7 different web sites, three 3rd party App Stores and co-ordination across multiple different countries and time zones. Its not as easy as you make it out to be. Anyone who already had the software should already know that it is a two part thing with the versions.

For sure, but I think Avid's aware of them and for the most part seems to listen and make reasonable feature requests and bug fixes (the ones that have directly impacted my workflows, anyway). One of the reasons I felt comfortable investing in Eucon equipment was the ability to come here and ask questions before.

I think it's tough to pull off an update like this (involving multiple Avid teams and then third parties on the stores), even without a pandemic, so I'm willing to cut them a little slack in the early weeks. I normally don't even look at upgrading hardware/software until its been out for months but I've had pretty good luck with the last few versions of PT.

To expect you to do all that is of course unreasonable. However, it would be nice if there was a note somewhere in the email, at the download link in our avid profiles, or when installing the software that says what version of the tablet software is required, so users could check before updating. If I had known about this issue, I would have waited for the tablet update. This would save a lot of people a lot of time and headaches I expect.
