Dtxplorer Kick/Snare are missing
Hey guys, so I've not messed around with midi drum controllers too much, but I have a Dtxplorer I want to use for recording midi data. I'm sure it's something simple but I can't seem to figure out why I can't hear my kick and snare. I don't even know where in ProTools 8(which I'm working with) I should be looking to configure the midi map. I'm running sounds from Drumcore3. I looked into midi-mapping forums and such but honestly I'm not very savvy yet when it comes to getting it.
Anyone have advice and could help me get my snare and kick triggers to show? -Ryan M. |

Re: Dtxplorer Kick/Snare are missing
Not sure it can be done in PT. I would edit the note numbers on the Yamaha brain until you find the midi note that fires the sounds you want. I went thru similar to get my Roland TD10 kit to trigger a cowbell or sidestick in EZdrummer.
