Default Avicii dead at age 28

Swedish DJ Avicii (real name Tim Bergling) has died at age 28 in Muscat Oman. No cause of death cited but apparently he was quite the partier in the past. From this link: http://variety.com/2018/music/news/a...28-1202772767/ :
"He had retired from live performing in 2016, citing health reasons. He had suffered from health problems for several years, including acute pancreatitis, in part due to excessive drinking. He had his gallbladder and appendix removed in 2014."

Default Swedish Superstar DJ Avicii Dead at 28 ...

I am in shock!!!

A friend and a Superstar DJ and Producer passes away at only 28 y/o .. Tim has worked for 15 years day and night and now when he could actually start chilling with his fortune he leaves us. Too sad!

R.I.P. Tim and as we know from the famous song - God is a DJ and so were you!

When I first read this on Twitter I thought of you. Condolences on losing a friend.

Maybe you can merge the thread I started with this one?

Thaaks Guys. I thought it was a fake news story as those pop up every. Ow and then but unfortunately it wasn’t ;(

He was soo big it was insane. 2017 he declared after taxes around 90 million in one year earnings and consider he stopped touring 2016 so that was only royalties and a few private gigs!! He was way bigger star than people thought and the nicest guy you would ever meet. Soo sorry to hear this. Tim - You tought me A LOT and Thank You for the music and kindness!

Sorry to hear you lost a friend so young Chris. I will have to admit when I came across the story over on the Fox News website earlier today, I had never heard of him. But I am not into that kind of music (and am kind of old).
