Default ProTools unable to locate hardware.

Hi I'm running LE 7.4.2 with 002 Rack on a new intel iMac with OS 10.5.5

I have not made any changes since its all been working fine a few weeks ago but today ProTools is unable to see the 002 rack on the firewire port for some reason. The 1394 light doesn't light up and I've tried using the other firewire port to no avail and the green light at the back of the rack doesn't light either. I even reinstalled 7.4.2 with any updates and still nothing...

I need to work on a project quite urgently so any help would be great.

Thanks!

Try replacing your firewire cable with a new one............this happened to me a few times with my 002. Sometimes the firewire cable just goes faulty. It`s at least a place to start.

Do a search for power harness.
