Issue with Waves Central Updates
Last night I tried doing an update for my Waves plugins using Waves Central (latest version). I'd select the plugins to update, select update and everything would start, then about 1/2 way through I kept getting this message that it had stopped and to check my internet connection. But there was no interruption in my internet connection...its been solid and fast. This happened like 4 times before I gave up.
Has anyone else run into this using Waves central? This is the second time I've tried doing updates and this happens.

It’s most like an issue with Waves servers. Try again at some point. Or simply uninstall waves central and reinstall. Or sign out of your account and sign back in.

I experienced a similar error a few versions back.
Try clearing the WC cache in settings if not already. If that doesn't work and things aren't normal at a later time, you might have to resort to the repair function in settings.

Also remember too, that if you come to doing installs with samples that the progress bar can look like its frozen for quite a while.
In this situation I find it best to install the plugins only, then come back and do a SD sample install, then a HD sample install. Breaking it up this way helps to ensure that the plugins get installed and if you do have issues it kind of informs you about which part of the process is problematic. |
