Casio CDP120 as midi controller
Hi I am running Pro Tools 12 on a Windows 10 HP Laptop. I cannot seem to figure out how to make my Casio CDP120 work as a midi interface. It connects to the computer with a USB cable. I can use it on the same computer to input notes to Finale 2014, but Pro Tools does not seem to recognize the hardware. Could I please have some help getting this working?

Re: Casio CDP120 as midi controller
Have you set the Casio up as a midi "instrument" in the Setup>Midi>Midi Studio section of Pro Tools? You need to create a new instrument. Name it whatever you like. Brand and model are optional(not required for it to work). The Input Port is the crucial setting so that Pro Tools knows where to "look for" incoming midi info(it would probably be something like "Casio USB[Emulated]")
