Repeatable Crash - searching workspace

Running PT12.5HD

Open a session
Open workspaces
Search for a file in the upper right search bar.
PT crashes

I've tried it on different sessions and it's the same deal.

Anyone else wanna try?

You're seeing this on 12.5 only, correct?

Yes that's the only version I have installed

I have a Mac laptop, that I will try a little bit later.....ill have to install PT on it.

I have a Windows laptop as well , but I will assume that this is not Windows related right now....

just tested here on 10.11.4 partition with PT12.5 (non-HD) ... no issues here ..

Ok, I just finished downloading all the basics for my laptop

I am running 10.10.5 on the laptop as well....I will see how it goes

So I finally got it all downloaded and installed.



Laptop running 10.10.5 and just installed all Avid content, Air Plugs and Xpand2 along with PT12.5.



Same deal is happening.



I went searching for 2 files in the workspace....after creating a new session and bang.....





Where do I send the crash logs to?

I could reproduce the symptom on my MacBook Air.

This issue should be the one logged as a known issue on our development database
and under investigation.

Pro Tools is crashing when performing an advanced search in the Workspace

This is about the advanced search, but I could reproduce with the simple search.
This issue should be fixed in the future update of Pro Tools.

Same with me as well. Don't recall it happening with any version prior to 12.5
Found this thread cuz I thought it would have been figured out already. Crash Logs are already sent in.

There's another thread on here somewhere with this same issue. Also on Gearslutz. I'm having the same issue with 12.5 - iMac i7, El Capitan. One touch of the workspace browser and it crashes every time.

EDIT: This did not happen for me on previous PT versions.
