6.7cs7 Audiosuite switching issue

I can reproduce this using the following steps:

1) Make a selection of audio to process.
2) Select Waves "Soundshifter", and process a file.
3) Without closing the Soundshifter window, select the "Normalize" AS plug-in.
4) Try to process, it'll give you the "Can only process 48 tracks at a time" error.

Close the plug-in window & call up "Normalize" again in a fresh window, and it works fine.

This may work the same with other plugs, but this is the scenario it just happened half a dozen times on.

This is a known error that has been around since versin 6 came out, LE and TDM have the same problem. Try it with any Waves plugin to any DigiRack, it happens in many ways.

Yes, it happens when you open any Waves Audio Suite process, then switch to any other company's Audio Suite process without closing the plug-in window. It only happens with Waves plug-ins. Both digidesign and Waves have been made aware of the situation. The only workaround is to close the plug-in window after using any Waves Audio Suite process.
