Zoom Toggle Crashes Pro Tools

Hello Community,

I'm getting this error message when I hit 'E' to zoom toggle tracks.

Assertion in "/Volumes/Development/158347/ProTools/App/Misc/UZoomToggle.cpp", line 665.

Once I hit it, there's no way out and I have to exit pro tools and start again.

Any help is appreciated.

Did you ever get this sorted?
Never happened to me before,
now after update to 12.5.1 (vanilla) it happens every time I use E in Edit window KB focus enabled (no, haven't tried disable yet
4 times in a row though...
and no assertion error for me, just the submit crash report option.

after trashing prefs, restart etc... I get your (if I remember correctly)

Hi,
I had the same crash happening last week, but only on clips in one track. Clips on other tracks where acting normal.
It went away when I manually zoomed in and out ……you may try?

Thanks for that, Walter!
I had a little more time to play around this morning 'cuz I was on a deadline yesterday that I met.

Created a new session from my same template and everything worked normally.
Went back to original track (yes one mono track 32 separate clips) repeatable sequence to crash.

Read your post. Tried manual zoom every way I could figure, crashes.
Dragged all the clips into a new track and everything worked as it should.

So thanks again,
Dunno if I would have ever thought to just try another track...
