Space won't work anymore

I just expired on my update support contract and now space doesn't work... I own a valid license on my ilok and have tried downloading the 12.1 installer but it still comes up as if I am using a subscription version. can someone let me know how to fix this please :)

try first synchronize your ilok with your ilok license manager....
maybe that helps

Avid changed the licensing for Space. To unlock 12.1 and above you need a iLok license "Space" from publisher "Avid", versions 12.0 and below are unlocked by iLok license "Space" from publisher "Avid TLL Products". Avid sent everyone who had a "Avid TLL Products" license a new "Avid" one about a year ago, but if you bought a "Avid TLL Products" Space license second hand since then you just can't authorize 12.1 or above (which so far is really no big deal because I am pretty sure the only updates they have made since v12.0 are iLok licensing updates such as increasing number of auths from 1 to 3, computer auths & iLok Cloud compatibility).

where did avid send this updated license? i just upgraded to 12 in april and there's nothing in my ilok manager, which i updated today, or my avid acct.
