I use my pod directly in my mbox. No buzz at all. Do you have single coil pickups on your guitar?

Try increasing the level of noise gate you have set on your Pod, particulary if you are using high gain with single coil pickups. I use a v-amp and i get a load of buzz when i leave it idol. I combat this by increasing the amount of gate, hopefully we're talking about the same type of buzz.

Regards

Thank you ..that was my remedy too. I think that noise is still there when I the gate is open with the notes. I do not get a clean quiet tone,
