Melda MRatio Routing Pro Tools 2020
Hi ...
Has anyone successfully routed Melda MRatio plugin for parallel processing in PT2020? If so, could you please explain. There is a video posted on the Melda website showing use of it with an original track and that track sent to two auxes. Aux 1 has the original track with effects added. Aux 2 has the MRatio plugin inserted keyed by Aux 1. What is supposed to happen is that when you move the ratio knob you can either have 100% of the original track, 100% of effected Aux 1, or, any blend while keeping level constant. I'm probably having a brain freeze ... but I can't seem to get it to work. It would be great if it did for blending parallel processing while keeping constant level. The video shows this set up in Sonar, but the routing seems clear. When I try to copy it I get no blending. HTML Code:

Re: Melda MRatio Routing Pro Tools 2020
I just tried it same as you described and I guess I got further than you but the problem I ran into is Pro Tools only lets you chose a mono bus as the key input for a plugin. So you have to use two instances of MRatio to get stereo.
I'm not aware of any other way to get audio from one track into a plugin on another 🤔 |

Are you saying that MRatio then worked as expected with the added disadvantage of having to adjust two instances of MRatio on the 'Combo' aux? Did you also try and get it to work on a mono track using mono auxes? I have an enquiry in with the developer. If I hear back I'll pass it on.

Re: Melda MRatio Routing Pro Tools 2020
Another thought.
Can faders in a group be set up inverse to one another so that when one goes up, the other goes down? I think that would accomplish the same thing for basic parallel processing. Oops: Never mind. Found this. http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=395878
