Hello, i would like to know if there is a way to find the year when a 192 i/o was built ?

HD systems were introduced in 2002 and the DigiDesign 192 interface was replaced with Avid HD interface in 2010

well the seller has a 192 which serial is AKD02168


So i once tought that mabe there would be a way to know which year that one was built.


Does it seems that clumsy ?

If it's any comfort, I have a friend that still is using his and has no issues at all. Had them for years. I have a MINT Avid HD IO on Reverb.com I am selling.. Bought a new fully loaded MTRX to upgrade my room to Dolby Atmos.

well ... if i had more money why not giving it a try but these 192's are really cheap and still really great converters.
I have been using these since 2003 and for te first time i have serious issue with one of them : the MB went out of order.

So if possible i would like to find one that was built around 2007 or later
