Default How To Install Pro Tools 8 on Windows 7 32bit

Hello,
I've been doing some research but haven't found anything for this. I am looking for help installing my pro tools 8 onto windows 7 32 bit. I've heard to not connect your Mbox 2 mini while it is installing and some other things. Can anyone either give me a quick step list or a tutorial link. Thanks

I believe you only need to do the turn on/off dance for the 8.04 driver which is here: http://duc.digidesign.com/showthread.php?t=277427

For <8.04 just download; run windows in minimum config; and hit setup. I believe you should target 8.01 or 8.03 at this time. (cs2 in both cases from memory).

Mike.

What worked for me with Win 7 x64:
Uninstall any previous version, with interface disconnected(Mbox) or powered off(002/003). Now, install PT8 with the hardware NOT connected. When the installer asks for the interface, DO NOT connect. Instead, click OK and the install will finish. Reboot and run the 8.0.4 updater. DO connect the interface when the updater asks for it. Finish the install>reboot>open PT>type in authorization code if required.
