Dangit! Which version of Quicktime for 7.0?
Can't find it anywhere on digi's site. I know it's gotta be there, but can't find it.
Which version of Quicktime for 7.0?

Get the latest. But don't expect the audio to work outside of Pro Tools. Or I-tunes either.

Re: Dangit! Which version of Quicktime for 7.0?
A YEARS-long "known issue" without a "known solution"
But Quicktime will work fine WITHIN Pro Tools. |

Re: Dangit! Which version of Quicktime for 7.0?
If you want every type of media known to man to play through Digi hardware then install the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack.
That codec pack will make Windows Media Player play everything through Digi hardware. To use it with Windows Media Player 11, I installed it and unchecked "Players", associated all files with Windows Media Player, and then finished the setup. It ended up being a painless way to play everything through Digi hardware using WMP. There is also a 64-bit version of this codec pack. Hope that helps. For WMP users, if the K-Lite pack still won't let you play 24 bit .wavs, this pack worked for me:

Re: Dangit! Which version of Quicktime for 7.0?
The K-Lite Mega Codec Pack plays 48k fine just to confirm. Myself and sunburst tested it out a few days ago as we were curious ourselves.
..and ya, it be nice to see all this in QT and iTunes also. Shane
