Go to your plugins folder and drag to trash. You do want your D-Fi don't you?

Hi guys.
cheers 4 the reply.

when i first got protools i installed everything (assuming it was all payed for and it was giving me the choice to install) - a total of about 20 plug ins needing authorization were popping up.

i've got rid of all these (except the remaining few in the list above) by going to the plugins folder.

these are not on my iLok. if these are free how would i authorize them?
if not how do i get rid of the pop up ?(i cant find these plugins in the folder)

Thank u fellas.

Well, D-Fi is actually four individual plug-ins. You'll need to remove Sci-Fi, Lo-Vi, Recti-Fi, and Vari-Fi from the plug-ins folder to get it to stop asking you four times.

The others are not in the plug-ins folder. Look in the applications>Digidesign>Pro Tools folder and you'll see those components in there. I'm not in front of an LE system, so I don't remember what the MP and DV Toolkit elements are called, but it's probably obvious. The Digitranslator component is called OMF.dll. Just move all of those out and you should be good to go.

D-fi is now free for Pro Tools 8.0 and 7.4.2 users, just download the new installers from the digi site.
