removing ring from recordings

Is there any way to remove ringing from a recording that was captured at a live event? My client gave me their recordings and apparently their FOH mixer was having troubles with feedback/ringing. is there any way that I can at least reduce the ringing?

Izotope RX.

If you have a clean section of the offending feedback, you could analyse it and use RX to suppress the offending noise.

Spectral analysis will help as well.

Also, the old fasion way; use a narrow band eq boost and swipe up and down to single out the frequency and then cut to eliminate it.
