Default PT stopped recognizing my keystudio hardware

I had this same problem innitially after I installed the micro drivers and the maudio essential software. I was advised by another user to install internet explorer SP1 or 2 and I installed SP1 which seemed to have fixed the problem. That was a couple of days ago. Today I go to fire it up and once again I'm getting a message telling me that my m-audio hardware is not ditected and that I should make sure its connected and turned on. I double checked the connections and the keystudio is all lit up. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thx,

Pro Tools is looking for the Micro; make sure it's connected. The system may have loaded the Microsoft driver instead of the M-Audio Micro driver. Check this guide and try selecting the M-Audio driver:
