Default can you set all clips to unity gain at once??

I have a MILLION clips all set to different clip gains by picture editor but I need to go thru everything for the audio edit. Selecting all tracks with or without clip gain line doesn't seem to change everything at once-only certain files. Ignoring clip gain doesn't work either as I'm half way thru the film and will make a mes of everything else I've done already. If I could just control-click on everything at once and set all clip gains to unity would be a huge time saver.

Tip.
In the future, ignore clip gain on import.

Is that your standard M.O., Mark, or is dependent on the project and video editor?

I coalesce clip gain to volume automation after aaf import (edit -> automation), so all clip gain is reset to 0dB and you can easily check and/or delete the picture editor's intended volume automation.
Usually I just check for mutes, cmd+m the clip myself and delete all automation.

I also like to convert clip gain to automation globally. I have a quickey for it. Not that I'm going to use any of it, but it keeps things from slamming in and driving me crazy. But you do have to check for regions set to no gain first. Of course, it's usually obvious if it's not supposed to be there, and editors zero out a lot of stuff that I can actually use.

It really sucks that avid took this out of the import session data window.

Well, hitting command a and my shortcut works well enough. It's not the worst thing Avids done, God knows.

I didnt understand the point of clip gain when it was announced. Now it's an essential part of my work flow.
