Default CAS Career acheivement award.

I just wanted to post an open congratulations to Ed Greene, who wiil be awarded the C.A.S. Career Acheivement Award
at next years 2/17/2007 CAS awards. Adding to his 19 Emmy awards for sound mixing (Production, and Post Production)

There is no single person I have learned more (audio) from than Ed Greene, as his A2 in the 90s.

Sorry Marti, if I announced this before you did. But my eyes watered reading this:

I second that. I was fortunate to work as Ed's A2 when he would come in and work at Sunwest Studios (late 70's early 80's). Ed could make great sounds with any piece of audio gear you put in front of him. Met some kid back then working with Ed by the name of Marti.

What ever happened to the red box?

To all,
There is no better all around person and Mixer in the business than Ed Greene! I was very fortunate to work with Ed for 6 years.
Ed shares his knowledge with everyone without hesitation. He is so well respected in this business by all. He is the whole package, yet is one of the most humble people you would ever meet. Just to think, they actually paid me when I worked with Ed. Hell, I'd work for free just to watch the magic up close. By the way he has been mixing for OVER 50 years!!
I too have tears in my eyes. I'm so happy for the recognition he is receiving. He was the one who got me in this business and everything I ever have achieved is because of him!
ED, YOU'RE THE BEST!!!
