Default Editor Key\'s - Need Help Using

I just placed my Editor Key's on (Windows) and I don't understand how to use the shortcuts. Some are obvious and require only one key. Others don't seem to do anything. F5 is suppose to zoom but nothing happens. F1 is "SHuffle" and that works but F2 - 4 do nothing.

I would appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction. I'm trying to start using the keyboard and shortcusts more.

Thanks.

F5 switches to zoom mode, F1 - 4 switch edit modes: shuffle, slip, spot and grid. you can see the buttons at the top are highlighted as you press their corrsponding button.

That's what I thought should happen but it doesn't.

Shawn, I don't know about you, but Command Focus doesn't need to be enabled to toggle between Edit Modes nor the Edit Tools.

Ummm... he should at least be able to perform those, right?

Don't know. I'll have to try it this afternoon. Never heard that term before.

F-Lock? No. Could that be it? I'll also try this afternoon.

Also, these are just 2 examples of some question's. I'm hoping to find guidance on how to use me Editor Key's.

Thanks for our help guy's.

Indeed. That's what I get for glancing at a post and giving stock answers. However, in my defense, most of the other "Editors Keys" (the stickers for Pro Tools keyboard shortcuts) need to have command focus mode enabled to function, so the OP would be best served by a)learning what it isSheesh!
and b)turning it on

Yes you may and thank you. I'll experiment with this and ask more question's later after I've taken some time to absorb it.

Thanks you.
