Splitting MIDI Notes??
Hey guys whats up, i was wondering how i could split all the notes i have in one MIDI track to their own individual tracks. Ive got a drum pattern recorded in MIDI and id like to split it so i can edit each sound individually, but im not sure of the quickest way to do this....hope you can give me some help, thanks!

Re: Splitting MIDI Notes??
Use the mini-keyboard on MIDI and Instrument tracks to select the notes you want to move. Then Cut and Paste to your new track. See page 582 of the PT 8 Reference Guide.
Or, you could use the Select/Split notes dialog, found at Event > Event Operations > Select/Split Notes. See page 818. |
