Default Persistant Clock Source/Sample Problemssss

Hi out there, coming to you from the year 2011 I guess with my setup, but till recently its been ok. But I have upgraded to OS Sierra, then had to dig out an old link to a digidesign driver for my mBox2 Mini which kicked it back into action again - yet no amount of troubleshooting will help me run a session. The audio clock is set to internal, sample rate 44.1kHz and looks like it all lines up yet still... "Problem detected with audio clock. Check that your clock source and sample rate are correct".
If I didn't have some tracks to deliver ASAP this should all be thrown into the East River. Anyone got any ideas? i am wondering if the interface (mBox) is where the issue lies.
Thanks in advance! X

PT can be problematic at times.

Have you checked out your version with the compatibility chart?

Hi, welcome to the community.

Which PT version are you using? Since PT9 you have had the possibility to use built-in audio, not needing the stick.

PT8 and older will most definetely not run on Sierra

Hey thanks... forgot to state I am using Pro Tools 10.3.10

Its looking dicey at best, and am confused as to which to upgrade first. Preferably nothing, but if I have to I will. Currently reinstalling mBox2 Mini driver and trashing prefs etc, still no go.

I saw a post on here about always cloning your system drive before upgrading the OS...
