Help! Premiere Compatability.
Is anyone using the new version of Adobe Premiere (v. 5.1c) to capture movies? In this version the 2Gig file size limit has been addressed using the same work around that Avid introduced some time ago. Basically as the capture streams to disk it will automatically begin a new file after the 2Gig limit is reached. These files are linked to the parent file, and in Pro Tools you see the whole file as one chunk which is better than having to load/spot the next chunk into your session.
So where is all this going? I question it PT is compatible with this new file version? I am getting corrupt sessions and am grasping at straws to find a cause. Is anyone using this successfully? |
