Default Batch fades?

Hi

When I select multiple regions and hit ctrl-F to create crossfades for multiple regions, I get the fade editor showing me crossfades, but after checking the fades in the regions In noticed that PT created fade ins and outs and NO crossfades.
Is it not possible to batch crossfades or am I doing something wrong here?
