MDW installer ver 1.1 does not work properly
MDW installer ver 1.1 checks only to see if you have MDW in the plugs list, NOT the version or date. If you have ver 1.0, it reports that you do not need to update the plug-in. When you run PT, PT reports you have a plug-in that needs to be updated.
You have to remove MDW ver 1.0 from the plugs list before you run the installer if you want a proper update.

I had this same problem. Thanks for the tip. I never removed 1.0 before I ran the updater, and therefore could never get it change to 1.1. Messed with it for a while and gave up. I need the 1.1 though. That full-code blast has already taken out one set of monitors!!!
