avid plugins no longer present in PT10 after installing PT11

Hi there,

I've just installed PT11 but I'm gonna keep using PT10 as there are a lot of RTAS plugins I rely on which have not been released in the AAX 64 bit format yet.
Thing is, when I closed PT11 to run some tests and re-opened PT10, all my avid stock plugins were gone as was EQ1. I also noticed the TRIM plugin is once again the light grey old version. how do I overcome this ?

I'd just reinstall 10.

Did you unisntall your old Pro Tools and upgrade to PT 10.3.6 before installing PT 11?

If not you just screwed yourself as only PT 10.3.6 or later can coexist on a system with 11. Otherwise its like it has always been and only one version of Pro Tools can coexist on a single computer.

Got a recent disk image/backup or all those installers handy?

Sure, but you probalby need to reinstall any third party plugins.

Now you have got yourself in a bit of a mess you might end up wanting to uninstall all the PT you gave and start over... you don't really have a 10.3.4 install anymore, you have a 10.3.4 install corrupted by having Pro Tools 11 installed over bits of it.
