Default Digi 003 & Firewire 800 ?

I'm thinking of upgrading my macbook pro soon but my Digirack only has a FW400 port. Is there any workaround to make it run on a machine without it as all new macs seem to be FW800 only.

Use a FW800 to FW400 cable.

invest in a CF card...then the HD and the digirack will be on separate buses.
