Default any TAXI members?

I'd assume many of you have heard of TAXI and
what they claim to offer. I've checked it out
many times in magazines, online, heard of a few success stories, etc., and when I can spare the cash, I would consider joining them, just as
another outlet to get exposure.

For those who have no clue of what I'm talking
about - www.taxi.com

Are there any taxi members on the board and if so,
anything you'd like to share with the group?
Is it worth it, do they really push your material
or is it just another merry-go-round of sending demos and gettting a mere tap on the back for your
efforts? Any success stories?

cool 8mm, thanks for the reply.

Since I mostly do instrumental, I'm just looking at it as a way to get some licensing deals for TV ads or shows, movies, etc. to generate a little $$ from publishing while working on my material.

I'd agree that it's much harder to get an actual record deal through them (or anybody else) these days, as no one is signing anything, it all seems to be on hold for a while.
I plan to setup my own label later this year, so we'll see.
