How did I select channels?
Day 1.
If I put the cursour in a track in the edit window, the corresponding track's "Sel" switch on the D-Command illuminated. Day 2. I'd managed to change something that stopped that happening. Any ideas what it was?

Re: How did I select channels?
D Command's SEL switches are in Focus mode.

Re: How did I select channels?
How do you do that?
(Probably a case of RTFM, but I'm relatively new to D-Command.)

Re: How did I select channels?
In the Global controls section there's a button where you can toggle between Sel and Focus mode.

This combined with "Track Selection follows Edit Selection" will cause the behavior you initially describe. |

Re: How did I select channels?
If you are speaking about trying to select a track in the edit window in order to load it into the focus strip, that doesn't work for me whether I engage "Track Selection follows Edit Selection" or not.
What I do is click on the track's pan button, send or insert. That loads the track into the focus strip. If you click it twice the pop up window will go away but the track stays loaded in focus. This allows me to call up a buried fader very quickly. Otherwise I have to call the track onto the surface and then select it using the ICON select button. If anyone has a different way of doing this, I'd like to know.
