Hmm... As you are not using a HDX-setup according to your signature, what is the difference between you and him? (I can't see from his post that he is a HDX user either). Nowadays there are not an awful lot reason to use HD Native hardware with Pro Tools apart from when you need more than 32 i/o in Pro Tools...

HD native have DSP too, it's only for the 64 i/o low latency, not like HDX that take care of all you mixer, i/o lowest latency, AAX DSP. But it have DSP.

But again, if you saw the picture, the latency is quite right for a Avid Core Audio HD system

1.4ms @ 44.1kHz / 32 samples

This is very interesting, we have almost the same computer, why do i get these values then ? I was actually wondering why the 6ms in and out would remain as i changed the buffer... do you also have logic ?

Check the image

The buffer size inside Cubase is not linked to the avid core audio option panel.

Who's fault?! who cares (at least for me that I'm learning how to code and I understand some things can't be made period, I'm not saying that this can't be fixed ok but it must be a effort for both manufactures)

Yes I have Logic too, but not used in a long time. Not even customers ...
