Downgrade PT Control iPad back to 18.3.0

OMG I left auto update on my iPad enabled and now I have 19.5.0 but still have eucon 18.3.0.244 . How do I downgrade the iPad app !?!?!

I came here to ask the same thing. Ipad was apparently on auto update, so now Pro Tools Control is not compatible with Eucon 18.3.

I'm using Pro Tools 2018.12, which isn't compatible with Eucon 19.5. So what do I do now?

It will work with PT 18.12 but there may be some unexpected plugin Window behavior.

Thank you Eddie. Is there any way to get the last 18.3 app version though? I don't have a backup as I never even connected this ipad to iTunes or a computer, ever. I believe it's possible to load an older .ipa version of an app, right?

I can factory reset the iPad, whatever it takes. I'd just really like to get back to where I was with the previous version. My entire system has been working flawlessly just the way it is and I'm really hesitant to update Eucon. I thought I had it locked down but didn't realize there was an auto app update feature on the ipad (it's even on by default!!)

I didn't update to 19.5 because 18.3 was stable and working for me. The iPad did an automatic update to 19.5 and now won't work with my hardware.

I tried deleting 19.5 and re-downloading 18.3, and there is where I'm stuck. It's downloaded but it's not installing or even letting me save it on the tablet! I called Apple and they said I had to contact Avid.

Anybody here, know how to revert to an older version?

Doesn't make sense. I'm on iOS 10.3.3. That version should allow loading apps manually.

To add to this - I found an old iPad that I used to use PT Control with. It still had PT | Control version 3.6 installed on it. I was able to extract that version and install it on the new ipad.

This doesn't get me anywhere of course as it's 18.3 that I need but it shows that it should be possible to do the same with a correct version of 18.3
