Problem with LE 7.1 and multiple user accounts
I've been getting the "Pro Tools LE unexpectedly quit" message whenever I try and start it on any other account on my Mac than the one I installed it on. I've checked permissions on the Digidesign folder and Plug-Ins folder and they all say read-write access. Anyone have any insight as to what this could be? This only started happening after I updated to 7.1 from 7.
Thanks! |

Re: Problem with LE 7.1 and multiple user accounts
Just an update, I removed all 3rd party plug-ins from my plug-ins folder to no avail. I reverted back to 7.0cs6 and all is good. Must be a bug with 7.1.

Re: Problem with LE 7.1 and multiple user accounts
you say you checked permissions, but did you run disk utility and "repair permissions"? Don't know for sure, but it does sound kinda like a permissions problem.
Peace

Re: Problem with LE 7.1 and multiple user accounts
Yup repaired permissions etc...it's definitely a bug with 7.1 because as soon as I reverted to 7.0, it started working again, even when I put my 3rd party plug-ins back in the plug-ins folder.
