Default I'd pay money for a Eucon / Studio One protocol

Still dreamin bout an actual Eucon protocol...

This would be their decision and work, and I doubt they would want to cannibalise their own controllers. Post on their forums and see what they say ;-)

I've asked them about Eucon support and they stated the same as you, that's it's completely up to AVID. lol

Ha. Eucon is a protocol and it is implemented by a lot of other companies (steinberg, apple, digital audio denmark, etc.) BUT you can only implement support in software to use Avid's Eucon hardware. Presonus wants to be able to implement eucon on their hardware controllers -- which will never, ever, ever happen. That's not how the licensing works.

So you really should complain about it to Presonus but be specific -- you want StudioOne to support eucon. Not that you want Presonus controllers to support eucon.

Right, I thought that it was clear about Studio One supporting Eucon, not their controllers. Perhaps I read the thread title wrong.
