Re: CPU is holding off USB audio
first of all you have given the very least amount of details about your problem
it's like asking your doctor to diagnose an ailment by just showing up in his office and having a seat.... second I'll just take a guess and see what happens Not Supported USB 2.0 Hard Drives USB hard drives are NOT recommended or supported for use as recording drives. Limited testing has shown that performance with USB drives is inferior to that of FireWire drives.

Re: CPU is holding off USB audio
Im having the same problem. Im running 6.9.2 on a g4 tower with dual 1 gig processors. when I try to play back the session I get the 9136 error and it stops playing. I also have reason open, and am using a few synths. the session uses 8 tracks other than the reason all the plugins are protools, reverb, delay etc...
Thanks pughking |

Re: CPU is holding off USB audio
if it is a g4 1ghz and you use the build in usb,
it is usb 1.1 with a data rate of 1 (!) MB/s. ..... regards

Re: CPU is holding off USB audio
theDude couldn't help you if you literally put your computer and interface on his desktop. It is most likely their interface not your CPU. Enhance your system again to the best of your knowledge carefully. Most end up disabling their own computer believing this error 6104 6105 9885 ect. is your CPU inefficiency instead of their hardware/interface issues they don't tell you about. Look for a different interface. Good luck.
