Can't create new project

Has this issue been resolved or has a solution been found?

I have just installed Pro Tools First and I am having the exact same problem as discussed. I get a message saying "The maximum number of projects has been reached for this account".

I have checked iLok both online and on my desktop and both show a licence for Pro Tools First linked to my desktop. I have no issues with passwords being rejected etc.

I have tried some of the simpler solutions such as logging out and restarting the application. I have also restarted my machine.

Having the same issue, read through the thread and none of the replies helped, hoping somebody can fix it for me, my mail is the same as the one I used to register here.
Only reply that is giving me hope, is the one saying it might just take a day or so for it to work because I just verified the license and everything an hour ago...been spending that hour to get this to work, please help.

Hey I'm having the same issue. I've done all the things that i've been told to do on this thread and it still won't let me record. I have a few screen shots to prove that I do have an active license to record but that, although i have no projects i have no storage for projects either. Is there a fix for this?

I am having the exact same issue and have tried everyone else's suggestions and still, nope.

Just downloaded Pro Tools FIRST. Fresh install, activated everything, and i have NO projects at all. My AVID cloud says I have 3 left, which I do. I've went through everything on this forum and none of solutions worked. Help.

When I log into Pro Tools First 12.8 and try to create a project a window pops up saying that the maximum number of projects has been reached for my account. However, this is my first ever avid account and I have never created any project, it says that I have no open projects and 0% storage is used.

My ilok account is connected and active. I have tried logging out of my account, closing the program then re-opening and signing in again. I tried uninstalling pro tools and re-installing it.

ILok manager is running and my computer is activated. I deleted the original PT First app...installed again.. still not able to create a project.

What's going on here?

Any luck with this issue?

One thing to try is to make sure your firewall is not blocking the call to Avid.

Also make sure Avid Cloud Services are installed. You should see them in your installed programs list in Windows.

Just a heads-up regarding your hard drive. 5400rpm wont run PT 12.8 as you would want it to and if you want to use it you need atleast a 7200rpm drive or a SSD drive and a secondary drive for recording to. No green or blue power saving drives so that needs to be fixed before you can run PT 12.8 without error messages that drive is too slow etc.
And 8MB cache is the worst drive possible for audio as standard spinner today is 64MB cache and 200 rpm.
