midi recorded as audio with reason/mbox/protools
I can not figure out how to record an audio track using midi controller, through reason-rewire and finally to protools.
Is there a way? Or is there a way in protools to convert midi info to "regular" audio information. I know how to record on to a midi track in protools. But I want to record it onto an audio track so that I can use the same subtractor sound from reason on multiple tracks. Also I want to be able to EQ and add effects to these midi tracks in PT. (By the way is this a crazy approach?) Thanks for the help.. |

Re: midi recorded as audio with reason/mbox/protoo
Try this tutorial from my help pages. (can also be done with mono tracks)
