Good plug-ins for M powered pro tools?

hi
im new and looking for some quality sounding instument plug-ins. i have a G5 , m-powered pro tools and a firewire solo. i'd like to also by a keyboard controller, probably the m-audio one thats like $100. im looking for just some basic keyboard/piano sounds and maybe some strings. if anyone has any suggestions i'd appreciate it. should i stick with m-audio or are there better ones? thanks
