Default Windows support for SDII files?

I am switching from Mac to PC this year due to the fact that upgrading my open-architecture computer is much cheaper than buying a new Mac every 2 or 3 years...but one roadblock. Does the PC version of PTLE support/open SD2 files? Thanks.

No

SD2 files use the resource fork to save their header info - when you select Mac/PC compat. mode for a Pro Tools session it dissallows the SD2 file type.

To convert sd2 files to BWF files, you can download my free sdTwoWav utility from my web site.

(Actually, I should note - you can import SD2 audio files into a session)

Thanks for the heads up. What's that web site? So as long as I can import sd2 files I'm okay with that! If that doesn't work I'll d/l that software you mentioned. Thank you so much!
