Best method for slowing down tempo?
The nightmare scenario: You track a song, overdub everything and then decide it's 2BPM too slow during the mix! Ahhhhhhhhh!
How do pro engineers go about speeding up an entire song so there are no (noticeable) artifacts? Do they use Serato P&T...or Elastic Audio track? Track by track? Do they do it in 4 bar chunks? Do they just do it to the final stereo bounce? I tried taking a stereo mix and using the generic Digi "Time Shift" in AudioSuite, but it sounds terrible, even when only speeding up the track 1BPM.
