Question What are You using for a Spectral Analyzer

I will take free or buy one(download) for use with PT8. Suggestions welcomed. Need it to help me eq better.I have tried the PAZ by waves, but can only keep one plugin open at a time in Pro Tools. So if I want to play, for example a bass to check the freq, I cant have and eq open at the same time to make an adjustment to the bass while watching the PAZ info.

Here's probably the best suggestion I think you are going to get; use your ears, not your eyes.

Ummmm... yes you can.

Hold down the shift key when selecting another plugin. (shift + click)

You can also click on the Target button on an open plugin window to have it stay open when you select another plugin. All of this is covered in the Pro Tools Reference Guide. (chapter 41, page883 in the 8.0 guide)

That said, try Inspector Free
