Default Mix window max size

I just got a 4K monitor, and was surprised to find out that apparently there's a vertical size limit for the mix window. I was really looking forward to having expanded sends and not having to scroll up/down to see everything.

Even in full-screen mode, it still doesn't work -- see the screen shot. Instead of using the whole screen, it draws black bars on the top and bottom of the window.

This is using PT HD 12.6.0 on OSX 10.11.6.

Anyone know any way around this?

Mac, PC? If it's PC, I can sort it out with a script as an interim solution.

Tried full 4k resolution (3840x2160) as well as the next step down, which is 3008x1692. Same problem on both resolutions, though obviously more screen space is dedicated to the black bars on the higher res. The mix window appears to have a fixed vertical maximum. Interestingly, it's only the mix window. The edit window scales to use the whole monitor as expected.

Prior to this 4K monitor, I used one that maxed out at 2560x1440. I didn't have this problem on that monitor, so I have to assume the max vertical height on the mix window is somewhere between 1440 and 1692.

BTW, in case it matters, the monitor is a Dell P2715Q.

Did you try at 2560x1440? This would help to pinpoint if it's only resolution related.

It works as expected at 2560x1440. Fills the whole screen.

So it seems it's a size limit as you said.

Appears so, yes. That sucks. Seems very arbitrary, since the Edit window does not have that limit.

Same problem here on Windows 10. It's not a critical need, but maybe someone knows how to fix it?
