Default Lost my plug-in presets

I'm running PT5.1 and I recently updated my version of Lexiverb from version 1.0.1 to 2.0. Since the update, I've lost all of my plug-in preset. I'm not only speaking of the my Lexiverb presets, but the presets for ALL of my plug-ins (Amp Farm, Ultratools, Lexiverb, Digirack, AutoTune, you name it). I've tried going into a plug-in and setting the Root Presets folder properly but it doesn't seem to take....any ideas?

-Check the "Obsoleted Digidesign Software" folder for your missing presets.

-If you remember the names of any of your custom presets, try searching your drive(s) with Sherlock.

Same thing happened to me with Lexiverb. I found if i name the Lexiverb folder to just "lexiverb' (inside the Plugin presets folder it came back.

It might be a nice feature to allow for three different places to store presets rather than current two: In the DAE folder, which is where all factory presets should be stored; in the session, for portability across different systems, and a user defined folder to keep presets that we use and won't get lost whenever we upgrade a plugin. I don't like presets being in the system folder anyway, and this would allow me to have them wherever I want them to be.

For that matter, it also would be nice to be able to store plug-ins wherever I wanted, ie outside the system folder.

With MacOS X, I'm sure that writing to the system folder or it's subfolders isn't allowed by normal users by default (I don't have it yet myself), so a new scheme of saving presets is probably already in the works....
