Help! All Plug-ins lost all presets!

Suddenly I get no presets in ANY plug in (I use mostly Digirack and IK). Setting root-folder doesn't help. I have to import each single preset one by one from the Plug In Settings Folder.

Why did this happen and what can I do about it?!

Hi,

Sometimes this is caused by corrupt DAE preferences. Go to Users > “your user name” > Library > Preferences and trash DAE Prefs. Empty your trash launch Pro Tools again and see if you're presets are back.

To avoid the dreaded "my computer ate my plugin presets", i backup my plugins and plugins settings files once a month to my iPod and to another HD just in case. Of course, this was after I lost them the first time...
