No eleven Rack in Pro Tools 10

Hi everybody,

I have a PT10 with ElevenRack installed on Win7 64bit .
Everything worked fine ...
Yesterday I installed Avids Free-Welcome-Plugins

I believed that since then there is no eleven Rack in ProTools anymore.
Its still in Win-System ... and all drivers are OK .
I tried nearly everything ... new installation of Drivers and new installation of ProTools ... but its still the same.

Please Help !

Try running the first half of the ERXP installer. That will put the 11R extensions back into ProTools.

What do you mean by 'Free Welcome Plugins'? Do you mean the 4 plugs available to new purchases of the 11R like Reverb One, Eleven plugin, Tel-Ray Delay and the Moogerfooger bundle? And if so, are you saying after you installed those 4 plugs and put them in the right directory that you lost the 11R window in PT10? Not on Windoze but a Mac and so far I've got everything where it's supposed to be.

As to ERXP - that means the Eleven Rack Expansion Pack which added a bunch of new amps and effects to the old 11R. There was a problem with some installs where the GUI for the new stuff wasn't showing up in the 11R window in PT. Re-installing the first half of the ERXP installer should clear that up. Also make sure your 11R has the latest firmware updates which is easily checkable from the front panel of the 11R.

in between I have solved my problem...

Yes you are right ... that were the plugins I ´ve installed.

I deleted my DAEPrefs in
C:/users/ myname/ AppData/Roaming/Avid
and
C:/ProgrammFiles(x86)/CommonFiles/Digidesign/DAE/DAEPrefs

and now everything is still OK .

I didn´t know that ERXP are the expansion Pack for ER - sry.

Sorry I haven't replied. Yes, ERXP is the Enhancement Pack.

Installing the Enhancement Pack adds device-specific files that allow the new features and amp models to be visible in Protools. In the past, during the process of upgrading Protools (even incremental upgrades), those files would often get overwritten, requiring users to re-run the first part of the Enhancement Pack installer to reinstall them.

This was clearly not the case in your situation, as it was the entire 11R window that was missing, not just the "enhanced" amps and so on. My apologies...
