And they've incorporated a few other excellent updates as well. This stuff is so far above the others that it's almost unfair. It wasn't long ago that people said that software eqs could never come close to hardware. Then it did. And the same was said about reverb. Then it did, too. Anyone feeling apprehensive about guitar software should try the workable demo of S-Gear and find out how far this technology has come.

I think one of the reasons is that Mike Scuffham worked at Marshall designing amps before he learned how to do it in software. He's an amp designer and musician building virtual amps, not a software engineer trying to emulate one. Great stuff.
