Think linking in/out controls. Sweeping cutoff and resonance at the same time. Loads of possibilities for creative use.

seems like a lot of of stuff just to external process.....
That means I have one computer and one USB interface, no DSP booster

Now that PT has track presets it’s easier to use those AND you can eyeball exactly what is on each track. With StudioRack you have to open the plugin.

Where SR is helpful is if you run a ****load of plugins because you can insert four or five plugins into a single slot in PT.

Yeah that’s one of the perks with it. I’m hoping they will upgrade it to also support easy parallel processing. That way you can chain several processes together and save them for instant recall on any DAW.

It seems like there hasn't been an update/upgrade for Studio Rack in auite a while. It's still at 9.2xx and may be the only Waves plugin that hasn't gone to V10.x As to parallel processing I've got BC Patchwork.

Not yet, well not on the surface. I believe it supports v10 though, so don’t let the versioning number fool you.

Patchwork is indeed more flexible, if you already have that than StudioRack is redundant. For the rest of us, though, it’s free and integrates with SoundGrid if you have one. I wish I did myself.
