OMF regions don't appear in Edit window
I have imported an OMF file into a PT 9.0.1 session.
The regions appear in the region bin, and the correct number of tracks get created in the Edit window, but no regions appear in the tracks. I would appreciate any help with this. As an FYI, I started working on this project in Logic Pro and the OMF imported without any problems. The OMF was created in the latest version of FCP. |

Re: OMF regions don't appear in Edit window
In your import session data dialog, do you have under 'main playlist options', 'import - replace existing playlists' selected? Otherwise it will only place the regions in the region list.

Re: OMF regions don't appear in Edit window
Thank you, suicune ... darndest thing. It's all working fine now.
I did have that checkbox active when doing this earlier, but it simply wasn't working -- and I tried it several times to make sure. I stepped away from the computer for a few hours, and now it's all working correctly. Sorry for the trouble, but I very much appreciate the quick response. I'm fairly new to PT and I'm happy to know this forum exists. |
